Hurricane Screws
Introducing a new solution to quality and safety!
In a controlled environment, Graceland tested the tensile strength of a hurricane strap and compared it to the hurricane screw.
We found that the hurricane clip breaking point was 465 lbs. Whereas, the hurricane screw breaking point was at 800 lbs! That’s a 335 lb improvement and that will increase the wind resistance on all of our buildings.
We are constantly trying to improve safety for our workers and quality for our customers. Hurricane clips required our builders to constantly move up and down ladders. Hurricane screws will not only help for safety reasons, but will also speed up the manufacturing process.
With the hurricane screw, installation will be faster and safer and the building construction will be stronger and superior to our competitors.
